Content Research

“It is content that drives the organization of the space, the selection of media, and the design of the total experience.” Albert Woods, 1986

We see content research as the foundation of our work. After all – truth IS stranger (and more interesting) than fiction. Time spent developing accurate narratives based on careful research – audience demographics, community consultation, primary and secondary documents, oral histories, artifact and archival collections – results in richer, more meaningful experiences for visitors, viewers, participants, readers. Our research expertise has contributed to a variety of project types, from interpretive exhibitions to municipal cultural plans to create stories of people, events and places and to highlight cultural resources for community development.
